And now.. the FINAL post on this site..

Whats up everybody. I think i'm going to probably shelve this site. For the next few months anyhow, i'll leave it up here just in case it has become useful. Find most recent updates regarding the show HERE

Hopefully your still checking in for the new episodes from time to time..there are THOUSANDS if not millions of podcasts out there so it is much appreciated, to those that listen and follow..

Using blogger feels dated and the link for this site is rather difficult to share. I also do not see the need for uploading a playlist each week any longer, but if you would still like one, shoot me an e-mail including the date of the show you wish to recieve a playlist for, and I will send it to ya....

So, bear with as i try and simplify things a bit.. Use the new link above for updates and to follow, "Ethereal Material" is also found on Twitter now
( though I know very little about it and am not the one behind it), it IS specifically for the show and I am aware that it also recieves updates regarding the show several times a week, so check that out as well, if it  is something you use.

Again, I will leave this site up for a bit, but overall it seems to have become obsolete. In the meantime, the shows keep bangin! Peace Tim

Fund drive for 'Ethereal Material' (2011)

Hopefully you had a chance to catch last weeks show, soon I am working on putting together a yearly fund drive in order to keep this show alive each week on the net.

Don't worry, not about to charge listeners to access the shows anytime soon, but keeping it on the "air" does require a monthly fee which I have been paying for up until now, but as of now am no longer able to keep this thing going and before it gets to that point where the plug would have to be pulled, I will, during the coming months, be working on getting a few artists to come through for a special "fundraising" edition of the show.

In addition to supporting a great show, and the artists showcased each week,  those who donate (even a minimum of 0.25) receive premiums for your donation such as, posters, key chains and best of all, exclusive new music and/or a hard copy of the shows compilation which came out in Sept. last year featuring a whole cast of emcees and songs that reflect the music often heard on the show....it is still available as a free download (for now) at the link provided above.

This show is ENTIRELY listener sponsored and I will pull the plug on it before deciding to run ads or commercials, let's keep this thing alive and moving by simply donating even a small quarter or fifty cents since literally, pennies are all I will be asking for during this time, especially since these are challenging economic times for many, even the smallest donations count.

ALL proceeds go directly to the expenses below:

*$120 yearly fee for podcasting services
*Archive space needed (for past and current) shows in iTunes
*Turntable needles and repair
*Mixer components
*Reciever hardware
*Recording software
*Generating premiums & packages to those who donate
*Keeping ads and commercials out of the picture, entirely

Remember, in addition there will be some really cool rewards and packages being offered for your donations!

Exact date for this fund drive is still TBA as is the details on how to donate (most likely PayPal)
but what I CAN say is that it will be a very special, very important show when the day comes and I will try and line up some relevant guests to come on the show and help me out for this one.
Remember, in addition there will be some really cool rewards for your small donation.

I'll have an all new show up this Sunday evening and until then, continue to enjoy what is, and always will be, the free podcasts and pleeeeease,,tell a friend, hip hop IS alive and well in 2011 :)

Peace
-Tim

"The natural disaster in Japan has wiped out towns, taken thousands and thousands of lives (with even more still missing) and had further knock on affects to several of the countries nuclear facilities. Japan is a calm, patient and dignified Nation and will no doubt build from this disaster, however in order to do that they will need as much help as possible.

It is with that in mind that A Bridge Too Far Recordings and The Find Magazine have teamed up to show financial support to the rescue and rehabilitation efforts that will be ongoing for the coming months if not years. Within just 72 hours they came up with this compilation, consisting of mostly unreleased music. Even some brand new material, such as the exclusive Erjee remix of Benjamin Diggins' 'Believe & Renovate' featuring Pseudo Slang and a new verse by Joe Kickass.

Other featured artists include Soul Square, Othello (of Lightheaded), Incise, Melodiq, Weedy (of 40 Winks), Teekay (of Dragon Fli Empire), Dela, Kidkanevil, LeftO and many more." - More info.
